Hello.

My name is Sylvia Mather.

With Austrian roots, shaped by life in Australia, I bring a global perspective to storytelling, creativity and human transformation.

For over a decade, I’ve worked as a Creative Producer, Director, Interviewer and Facilitator, shaping stories through film, podcasts, retreats and workshops. My passion lies in helping people and organisations uncover authentic narratives, stories that spark connection, inspire action and create lasting change.

Alongside my production work, I guide individuals through Human Design and transformational coaching, helping them realign with their true essence and create a life that feels deeply authentic.

Whether I’m behind the camera, hosting a podcast, producing an event, or guiding a coaching session, my purpose is the same: to hold space where truth can emerge, stories can connect and transformation becomes possible.

Join me on a path of growth, connection and meaningful storytelling.

My Story.

Born and raised between the high peaks of the Austrian alps, I moved to Australia in 2009 after falling in love with the country and its people and I have called Sydney home ever since.

With studies in Psychology and Media & Communication, I stepped into the world of storytelling when I was a child, drawn to people’s voices, lived experiences and the unseen threads that connect us all. Over the years, I’ve produced films, podcasts and events for values-driven organisations across culture, wellbeing and social impact, always with the intention of honouring the human heart of the story.

Becoming a mum to two beautiful sons deepened my own journey of growth and self-discovery. It opened a new path: combining my love for meaningful conversations with Human Design, NLP and transformational coaching. This expansion allowed me to not just tell stories, but to support others in rewriting their own.

In 2020, I launched the Soul Sunshine Podcast, blending storytelling and personal development. The podcast explores topics around mental health, wellbeing and human potential, offering inspiration and practical wisdom to listeners in over 80 countries.

Today, my work bridges both worlds, storytelling and transformation. Whether producing a story, producing and/or facilitating a retreat, interviewing someone for a podcast or guiding a client through a transformational coaching session, I hold the same belief at the core: Stories are how we connect. Stories are how we change.

My mission is simple: to bring clarity, connection and empowerment through the stories we tell, both to the world and to ourselves.

I can't wait to connect with you and support you in creating some magic.
